👫Friendship Quest
This quest is optional and serves as an alternative if you wish to pass the Guard and access the slums freely without any restrictions. Normally, you must speak to the Guard at Lighthalzen ( 267, 200 ) repeatedly until he eventually allows you to pass.
Find Maku at Lighthalzen ( 337,232 ) and speak with him. He will ask you to go to the area where the wealthy residents live.
Go inside the hotel and walk upstairs. In the first room on your left, you will find Digotz ( lhz_in02 201,210 ). Speak with him, and you will notice that he talks in a similar manner to Maku.
Return to Maku and speak with him again. He will tell you more about their past.
After that, go speak with Digotz again. He will curse Maku. Carefully write down the exact words Digotz wants you to relay to Maku. The message is case-sensitive and must match word for word, including punctuation.
Return to Maku and relay Digotz’s words to him, one line at a time. After hearing the message, Maku nearly breaks down. Hopeless bastard! You're still a stubborn jerk! You owe me at least 3 lunches! Not to mention an apology! But who cares what you think?! I'm so goddamn happy without you!
Enter the sentences above one line at a time, not all at once.
Speak to him again and you will lose 50% of your HP. Try to calm him down, and he will tell you about his other friend, Benkaistein.
Return to the hotel and tell Digotz that you have a message for him. Relay exactly what Maku said. He will also mention Benkaistein.
From what both of them say, it becomes clear that Benkaistein enjoys reading books. You should then head to the Juno Library.
In the Juno Library, find the Student at ( yuno_in04 107,14 ) and ask about Benkaistein. He will tell you that Benkaistein is in the opposite room.
Speak to the Passionate Student, Benkaistein ( yuno_in04 96,106 ), about Maku and Digotz. He says he is willing to help resolve their issue but is currently busy. He is trying to find a book that will clear up the misunderstanding, so you offer to help him.
The book is located on the table at ( yuno_in04 167,115 ). You will obtain Friend’s Diary.
Tell the Passionate Student, Benkaistein, that you found his diary. He will ask you to show it to both of them.
Head back to Lighthalzen’s Hotel and speak with Digotz. Then show him the diary.
Then go and show the diary to Maku. He is still unaware of Digotz’s situation and continues to wait for him.
Because of Maku’s uneasiness, return to visit Digotz. Unfortunately, he has been ambushed and killed. Remove the dagger that was used on him.
You will obtain a Knife, and that concludes Digotz’s part of the quest.
Keep this knife if you plan to continue with the sequel, the Bruspetti Quest, where you will uncover who killed Digotz and why.
The Bruspetti Quest is only a side-story quest that will be introduced later, alongside the future release of the Rachel map.
Finally, return to Juno and inform the Passionate Student, Benkaistein, that you have completed his request. You will receive a Pass that grants you access the Lighthalzen Slums freely without any restrictions.
